Here at the Green room Door we love any indie artists success story. This one is pretty special. 

The popular Tamworth Country Music festival is ranked in the top 10 biggest country music festivals in the world. 

Often for independent artists coming to Tamworth to perform for the first time is an expensive exercise, where few independent artists can make money, but are there instead for the networking within the industry and the terrific vibe that is Tamworth Country Music Festival, whilst working to succeed in their musical dreams. 

However, Western Australian Artist Gary Anderson broke that rule, by not only organising and performing a successful show, but two sell out shows! One a tribute to Elvis at the iconic Capitol Theatre and the other an amazing Country spectacular at the 1000 seat Tamworth Town Hall.

Gary Anderson visited Tamworth last year to get the lay of the land as it were, and he saw a gap in the market for a high-end event. Gary put together a Vegas style show that not only wowed the audience .. but “moved them”.  Aptly titled “Ultimate Country & Rock n Roll”. The high energy stage shows dazzled audiences with a variety of country, Americana, rock 'n' roll, a tad of blues and includes a touch of his own brand of music known as "Popabilly Country". A blend of Country, pop and rock 'n' roll. 

The spectacular has a little bit of something for everyone, with a cast that includes gorgeous backing singers, beautiful showgirls and Australia's top A-grade country musicians. It's not just a show, it's an EXPERIENCE! 

Following on from his Top20 country hit single “When You’re Tipsy”, Gary Anderson, “The New Face In Country Music”, hit the ground running with his Valentines Day gem, “That’s What I Love About Us”  which has recently gone to No 1 on the Australian Country Chart
